These are the modern, absolutely guaranteed, high quality cartridges in which the rubber sealing washer has been replaced by ceramic discs that open or close the water with only 90° or 180° turning and a silicone gasket.  They are available in various sizes and can be customised on request.

They can be used with normal water flow (inlet from the lower gasket and outlet from the side windows) or, with a specific gasket to be requested, also with reverse flow (inlet from the side windows and outlet from the lower gasket). Versions with vertical flow (water inlet from below and outlet from the rod through a longitudinal hole) are also available
